Certified Translation of Official Documents: What it means and when it is necessary
A certified translation of official documents is a fundamental requirement in many situations. But what does it mean exactly and when is it necessary?
A certified translation is an official translation. In this case, the official translator certifies the authenticity and accuracy of the translated document. The official translator guarantees the conformity of the translated text to the original.
It must be noted that countries may have specific and different requirements and regulations for certified translations, it is therefore very important to check the specific requirements of the destination country (or the requirements requested by the authority or office) requesting the translation, because in some cases it may be required a sworn translation.
